A WEEKEND OF THE WORLD’S BEST RACING, LIVE MUSIC & MORE!
Experience world class entertainment, free concerts and food worthy of Austin’s reputation all weekend long at Circuit of The Americas. From the moment you arrive, you’ll know why this bucket list event was declared SportsBusiness Journal’s “Sports Event of the Year.” Witness first-hand 147 screaming decibels from the most impressive racing machines in the world as they accelerate from zero to 100mph and back down to zero in five seconds flat. And after the races, stick around for concerts at Austin360 Amphitheater and Sunday’s Fan Track Invasion. The fun doesn’t end at the track! Every night, downtown hosts Austin Fan Fest–a 12 block, four day, Grand Prix after-party with live music on 6 stages…all for FREE!! The opening ceremony at this years race is set to feature the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and a performance by the University of Texas Longhorn band. This years panel lineup features Sergio Perez, Austin Gutierrez, Adrian Sutill, Pastor Maldonado, and Caterham’s young American test driver, Alexander Rossi. For Red Bull’s world champion Sebastian Vettel, his streak of eight is yet to be reached in Austin after falling short behind Lewis Hamilton in last years race. Hamilton, however, plans to extend his streak that dates back to his debut in 2007. Other drivers to check out race weekend? Niko Hulkenberg, Kimi Raikkonen and Jules Bianchi. The event will also host a private Motorsports Driving Club and Karting Track. Musician Sting, Sick Puppies and recording artist Pitbull will entertain. And just when you thought the grand spectacle over, you can look for all the post-race festivities from Turn 15 to Turn 1 and grab some tire remains to take as a souvenir. Every turn this year on the Austin track is highly anticipated and not to be missed!
